Measurements & Sizes

The pattern includes instructions and measurements tailored for two sizes:

• Size M/L: Sleeve length: 52 cm | Width: 58 cm

• Size XS/S: Sleeve length: 47 cm | Width: 46 cm

•  Gauge: 17 stitches and 22 rows equal a 10x10 cm square in stockinette stitch.

   

   

Materials Needed (What to prepare)

•  Yarn: The pattern requires Brushed Alpaca Silk yarn in 3 different shades.

•  Yarn consumption: The original project used color 1 (white) - 125 g / 5 skeins, color 37 (orange) - 100 g / 4 skeins, and color 33 (green) - 75 g / 3 skeins. 

•  Needles: Circular knitting needles in sizes 4 mm and 5 mm.

•  Cables: 60 cm and 80 cm cables are required, but you can also work solely with an 80 cm cable using the magic loop method.

•  Needle tip: The author highly recommends using interchangeable circular needles, making it much easier to put parts of the project on hold during the process.

•  Accessories: You will also need scissors, a tapestry needle, stitch markers, and a measuring tape.

   

   

Sweater Construction

• The front and back panels are worked flat (back and forth in rows), while the sleeves are knitted in the round. 

• You start by knitting the back panel, then the shoulders, and finally join everything together while leaving armholes for the sleeves.

• The instructions include detailed steps on how to achieve beautiful, smooth transitions between your chosen colors.
